St Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274) is the preeminent theologian and philosopher of the Catholic tradition. His Summa Theologica is the most comprehensive and systematic work of Catholic theology ever written. His philosophical works — De Ente et Essentia, the commentaries on Aristotle’s Physics, De Anima, and Nicomachean Ethics — form the intellectual foundation on which Glenn’s seminary course is built.
